Description

Moon on 04 08, 00:46 UTC. Craters, from top to bottom, left Arzachel, Alphonsus, Ptolemaeus, and to the right of center, Albategnius. All large and of different ages, as can be saw by the different degrees of collapsing of the walls and flooding of the floor, and for the superimposition of more young craters. The low sun angle shows lots of folds over the terrain, at more or less regular intervals, suggesting a large scale reaction of the crust to some giant impact? Maybe some of the younger basins?
